HNZLU Beast High School Dance Competition

November 14, 2014 at Kaimuki High School. Island wide High school dance competiiton. Art show by Kawananakoa Middle school art program. Hosted by Kut Master Spaz and judged by Josh Hazemat Ulep, Cara Horibe and Jared Ake.

HEADACHE

This Wednesday 7-8pm Bay Areas Headache will be teaching the Hypersquad Honolulu class.  Headache is a member of Academy of Villains and Academy of Hype.  Youtube this dude....mad skills. Isolations, tutting, street and hip hop styles.

This Friday come on through for Mission Minded.  A fundraiser for the Catalyst to go to Spread the Gospel in Japan. Live bands, DJ, poetry, Cypher and art.  Gonna be a great night.

About Mari Koda:
Mari Koda, originally from Japan, is an accomplished dancer in many styles such as Hip-Hop, Popping, Locking, Jazz and Salsa. She won BET's 106 & Park Freestyle competition is also trained in classic ballet. Her credits include the opening number of MTV VMA with Jamie Foxx, and 50cent's "Out Of Control" video and Missy Elliot's "Cop That Disc" video, and The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (TV Series). On the big screen, Mari has been seen on Step Up 2, Step Up 3D, and Step Up Revolution.

"Say Yes to Purpose" school tour

So this year we are partnering with Academy of Hype to do our school tour.  There is a saying, " where purpose is not known abuse is inevitable".  

What ever it is that you are passionate about is tight into your purpose.  When you focus on your passion or your purpose its easier to stay away from the negative things that can hurt either you or someone else. (bullying, gangs, drugs etc.)
